Blue Nylok self-locking, adjustable, reusable hex nut exceeds industry standards.
The NYLOK® BLUE® TORQ-PATCH® LOCK-NUT's self-locking element is permanently spray bonded onto the threads of virtually any type hex nut. When mating threads are engaged, the tough, resilient blue nylon patch element is compressed and a counterforce is created to establish a much stronger metal-to-metal contact and positive resistance to vibration and loosening.
A NYLOK TORQ-PATCH self-locking patch can be applied to your own hex nuts, or ready-to-install self-locking hex nuts can be supplied to meet your specifications. Hex nuts as small as #10 (M5) can be processed. And NYLOK BLUE TORQ-PATCH self-locking elements can be applied with equal effectiveness to large diameter nuts.
