Nylok's patented NYCOTE® NYCREST™ coating provides all of the advantages of our NYCOTE® product while also eliminating material buildup on collets. Our unique patented process (U.S. #5685680) coats the root and flank of the thread without coating the crest. The resulting fastener provides solid metal to metal contact between the thread and collet, which eliminates material buildup on the collet thereby eliminating the costs associated with collet replacement and lost production.
